Tony McGrade is a director and the founder of McGrade & Co. He is a Law Society accredited specialist in employment law. He acts on behalf of individuals and small and medium sized businesses on a full range of employment issues. He is on the panel of solicitors for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. He was the Scottish representative on the Employment Lawyers Association, a UK wide organisation of employment lawyers, between 2007 and 2009. He is also a member of the Employment Law Committee of the Law Society of Scotland. He regularly provides training to solicitors, advisors and employers on a wide range of employment issues. He has a particular interest in discrimination law.

Giles Woolfson is a director of McGrade & Co, having previously worked at Maclay Murray & Spens in Glasgow. He is accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in employment law. He advises both employers and individuals on various employment issues including whistleblowing, discrimination, breach of contract, unfair dismissal, restrictive covenants and TUPE. He assists lawyers from other firms who are advising clients on property and corporate transactions involving TUPE. Giles has a strong interest in mediation and is a trained mediator.
Giles has contributed to a number of national radio broadcasts on Radio Scotland and Insight Radio, a radio station for blind and partially sighted listeners. He provides training to solicitors, advisors and employers and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Paula Chan is a solicitor with McGrade + Co. Ltd and has practiced exclusively employment law for over four years. Paula deals with contentious and non-contentious work, for employers and individuals, advising on a range of issues including grievances, disciplinary, capability, redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination, compromise agreements and TUPE. Paula is the secretary of the Scottish Discrimination Law Association, and sits on the committee of professional networking group, Connections Glasgow. Paula is regularly involved in providing internal and external training and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Alison Peat is a solicitor and joined the firm in June 2011. Alison has experience advising both individuals and companies in respect of a number of employment matters, including compromise agreements, grievances, disciplinary and capability issues, unfair dismissal and discrimination.
Alison studied law at the University of Strathclyde and graduated in 2007. She was a member of the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic where she advised individuals on a variety of matters including representation at the employment tribunal. She trained and worked at MacRoberts LLP in Glasgow before joining McGrade + Co. Alison is a member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association and the Employment Lawyers Association.
